Our 3
Part Plan

Currently, the program is moving,
through three phases of development.

Phase one

The first phase is concerned with the establishment of a roster of teaching artists and arts organizations willing to create applied arts programming dedicated to vocational possibility.

Phase two

The second, now stalled by the pandemic, involves a full collaboration between these teaching artists and area teachers, principals, and community members. The goal of that partnership will be to create a dynamic, formal curriculum based on the arts and occupational goals.

Phase Three

The third phase, creating a sustainable, mainstream program, is now in its first steps.  Our current work will not only build a solid artist roster and an arts-based curriculum, it will also generate very strong numbers (four to five hundred participants per school) and a full video component documenting our work in the schools.  I believe these features will generate a very fundable program that will be popular among groups concerned with both the future workforce and systemic racism. (Both major concerns of the BASD and the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission).
